Kontrast sensors KT5/KT5G-2P1111 utilize an LED light source for sensing at a distance of 10 mm. They feature a PNP switching output and a light spot size of 1.2 mm x 4.2 mm with vertical light spot direction. The light emission is available from both the long and short sides of the housing, which is constructed from metal. Connection is via a 4-pin M12 male connector, and adjustment is managed by a potentiometer.
