The DFS60S Pro safety encoder, model DFS60S-BEOK01024, is designed for safety-critical applications. It achieves Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 2 (IEC 61508), SILCL2 (IEC 62061) and Performance Level (PL) d (EN ISO 13849). The encoder features a 12 mm blind hollow shaft with feather key and a Sin/Cos interface operating between 4.5 V and 32 V. It includes 1,024 sine/cosine periods per revolution and is connected via an 8-wire cable, 1.5 m in length.
